Jezebel removed over 100 articles from its website, outraging former staff
Jezebel, a women-focused website that launched in 2007 and became an edgy and often transgressive staple of feminist internet culture, has removed more than 100 articles from its website with racy words in the headlines.
A Washington Post review of the site found “404 error” messages — indicating that a page could not be found — in place of the articles, some of which were many years old, that had used sexually explicit and sometimes vulgar words in headlines.
