Three Limpopo police officers have been arrested for alleged corruption in Polokwane. They are attached to police stations in the Sekhukhune District.

Limpopo Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Jan Scheepers says investigations are continuing.

“You would know that the task upon us is to fight crime and know that the community is safe. We cannot achieve this if we have members who are corrupt amongst us because the moment we are corrupt, you are not only selling the country, but you are also enabling criminals to do as they wish in our province. From the day I started as the Provincial, I clearly made a statement that we are going to deal with corruption to ensure that we have a force that is dealing with integrity and doing the right things for our community.
